It’s hard to believe that its been 6 months since we took to Old Trafford Cricket Ground for our Best Practice event and presented our upcoming Lean RCM Award. But here we are and now only 3 days away from proudly presenting our first candidates at Kellogg’s Trafford Park with their certificates.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Lean RCM Award, the Lean RCM qualification is a customised award owned by EMS Cognito Ltd and assured by the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA). It is a qualification that has been developed to recognise best practice in asset reliability, operational productivity skills and competence within individuals operating in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.

By introducing this award, we have provided a standard for employers to measure current and potential employees to ensure their teams have the skills and competence to deliver world-class asset performance.

This externally verified qualification is credit rated allowing comparison with other academic awards and is a desirable achievement for progressive Engineering, Maintenance and Operations employees who are seeking to develop and further their careers. The team at Kellogg’s have worked extremely hard and are seeing the benefits. 16 of it employees have gone through the process so far and from that have gained qualified Practitioners and Facilitators in the Lean RCM Best Practice process.

By participating in the process Kellogg’s  have demonstrated a solid investment in their people and have demonstrated to customers and consumers alike the desire to continuously improve and apply rigorous standards.

We are very pleased to congratulate Kellogg’s on their success with the Lean RCM Award and we hope that many more will also benefit from the process.
